As a youth Halle attended the Bedford High School. Despite experiencing problems because of her race, Halle proved to be a bit of a model student. She was a cheerleader, editor of the school newspaper, was an honour society member and a class president. Despite her colour she was even crowned prom queen one year. While at school Halle entered various beauty pageants and won. Naturally Halle considered university upon graduation. She chose to study Broadcast Journalism at the Cuyahoga Community College.

Gabriel Aubry et Halle Berry forment un très beau couple.
Alors qu'elle en est aux premiers stades de sa grossesse, Halle Berry peut compter sur un amoureux attentionné: le mannequin québécois Gabriel Aubry. Il lui masse les pieds et l'aide à combler ses envies pour des aliments un peu particuliers.
«Elle a des envies de cornichons», a dit Aubry à People lors de l'événement "World of Calvin Klein" à New York. Elle aime aussi le pain. "Elle a donc un faible pour le sel et pour les cornichons", renchérit le mannequin.
En entrevue à «Access Hollywood», Aubry avait également affirmé qu'il massait les petits petons de sa belle.
Le bébé devrait naitre au printemps, a-t-il indiqué. Berry, 41 ans, et Aubry, 32 ans, seront parents pour la première fois. Le couple ne connait pas encore le sexe de l'enfant à naitre.

L'actrice américaine Halle Berry, 41 ans, et son homme, le mannequin montréalais Gabriel Auby, 32 ans, sont les heureux parents d'une petite fille, née hier soir. Un porte-parole de l'actrice a déclaré que la star était en grande forme et absolument ravie. Les nouveaux parents s'étaient rencontré lors d'une séance de photos Versace en 2005 et filent le parfait bonheur depuis. Le nom du bébé est Nahla Ariela Aubry.
Gabriel est francophone et montréalais. Pour apprendre la langue, l'actrice a raconté qu'elle avait des autocollants en français partout dans sa maison. Sur le frigo comme sur la cuisinière et c'est ainsi qu'elle apprend. Il parait que Gabriel a appris l'anglais avec des "post-it" et qu'il lui aurait suggéré de faire la même chose.
Halle affirme qu'elle adore être enceinte et qu'elle ne veut pas connaître le sexe du bébé. Il n'est pas du tout impossible qu'elle accouche à Montréal, une ville qu'elle adore.
Le couple possède un condo dans le Vieux-Montréal mais il pourrait acheter une maison. Westmount?

Nous apprenions récemment que Halle Berry serait de plus en plus intime avec Gabriel Aubry, un mannequin montréalais,qu'elle aurait rencontré il y a quelques mois dans un contexte professionnel, selon le New York Post.
Gabriel Aubry, l'homme que l'on voit, a déjà posé aux côtés de Demi Moore pour une campagne d'affichage de la maison italienne Versace. Et Berry, également porte-parole du couturier, incarne le renouveau de Versace avec la collection printemps-été 2006. Halle Berry, trente-huit ans, aurait été vue tenant la main d'Aubry lors d'un souper donné au Soho Grand hotel pour les membres de la distribution du film Perfect Strangers, auquel Berry a pris part.
Halle aurait déclaré qu'elle voulait tomber enceinte pour ses 40 ans, et peu importe sa relation du moment.Selon les témoins se confiant au journal, le couple a rejoint les étages ensemble après le dîner et a fini la soirée dans la suite de l'actrice.
Gabriel Aubry est âgé de 30 ans, mesure 6'2" et gagne plus d'un million de dollars par année. Il est natif de Montréal.

After participating in the Miss USA pageant, African American actress Halle Berry became a model, which led to her first weekly TV series, 1989"s Living Dolls. An actress of striking beauty and elegance, she rapidly gained a reputation for on-set tenacity, preferring to "live" her roles and remaining in character even when the cameras stopped turning. This technique was not universally condoned by her fellow workers, especially when she reportedly refused to bathe for several days before starting work on her role as a crack addict in Spike Lee"s Jungle Fever (1991). However, such intense preparation paid off, as Berry"s work on Lee"s film provided her screen breakthrough.
The following year, the actress was cast as Eddie Murphy"s love interest in Boomerang, one of the few times that the explosive Murphy was evenly matched on screen. Usually appearing in adult-oriented films, Berry gained a youthful following for her performance as sexy secretary Sharon Stone in The Flintstones (1994). She next had a highly publicized co-starring stint with Jessica Lange in the adoption drama Losing Isaiah (1995). Her turn as a former crack addict battling to gain custody of her child, who as an infant was adopted by an upper-class white couple, received mixed reviews. Some observers felt that her scenes with Lange merely amplified Berry"s artistic shortcomings, while others believed that she had never given a more dynamic performance.
Opinion of the actress work was overwhelmingly favorable in 1998, when she starred as a street smart young woman who takes up with a struggling politician in Warren Beatty"s Bulworth; the following year she won even greater acclaim for her turn as tragic screen presence Dorothy Dandridge in the made-for-cable Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. Unfortunately, any acclaim Berry enjoyed was overshadowed by her widely publicized brush with the law on February 23, 2000, when she allegedly ran a red light, slammed into another car, and then left the scene of the accident.
