Kim Cattrall: Filming 'Sex & The City - The Movie

Born August 21st 1956 in Liverpool, England, at the age of 3 months Kim emmigrated (with her father Dennis and mother Shane) to Canada where a large number of her films have been made.
At the age of 11, Kim returned to her native country and studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Upon her return to Vancouver Kim graduated high school at 16 and won a scholarship to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
During her final year at the academy she won a part in Otto Preminger's ROSEBUD (1975). Following her film debut Kim returned to the theatre first in Vancouver and then played repertory in Toronto prior to winning a contract at Universal in Los Angeles.
Whilst in L.A. Kim met German architect Andreas Lyson whom she married in 1982. Kim's second marriage lasted for 5 years until separation and then divorce in 1989.
It was around this time that the world got to know the name Kim Cattrall as a result of roles in a number of high profile movies including Porky's, Police Academy and Mannequin.Outside of films, Kim is known to be a keen skier and has attended a number of celebrity ski events.

Kim Cattral est née le 21 aout 1956 en Angleterre dans la ville de Liverpool. Vers l'âge de trois elle émigra au Canada avec son père Dennis et sa mère Shane. C'est ici au Canada qu'elle fit le plus grand nombre de ses films.
A 11 ans, elle retourna dans son pays natal et étudia au London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Lors de son retour à Vancouver elle fit des Hautes Etudes ou elle gradua à l'âge de 16 ans. Elle gagna un diplôme qui lui permis d'étudier à l'American Academy of Dramatic Arts à New York.
Durant sa dernière année à l'Académie elle partagea un rôle avec Otto Preminger dans le film ROSEBUD (1975). Suite à ce film elle retourna au théâtre de Vancouver et joua dans un répertoire de rôle à Toronto avant de faire un premier contrat avec Universal à Los Angeles.
Durant son séjour à Los Angeles elle rencontra un architecte Allemand Andreas Lyson, et, ils se marièrent en 1982. C'était sont second mariage qui dura 5 ans. Elle divorça en 1989 après une séparation.
Ce fût vers cet époque que le monde a connu le nom de Kim Cattrall par le nombre de films qu'elle fit; Porky's, Police Academy et Mannequin.
En deça de ses films elle est connu pour être une bonne skieuse et fait part à de nombreux évenements ayant rapport au ski.
