Rupture entre Lance Armstrong et Sheryl Crow

ANGELES (AFP) - 04/02/2006 14h30 - Le champion cycliste Lance Armstrong
et la chanteuse country-rock Sheryl Crow ont annoncé vendredi
leur
séparation, à l'issue de deux ans de liaison et cinq mois
de
fiançailles.
"Après
avoir beaucoup réfléchi, nous avons pris la très
difficile décision de
nous séparer. Nous éprouvons tous deux un profond amour
et respect l'un
pour l'autre et nous demandons que notre intimité soit
respectée
pendant cette période très difficile", a indiqué
le couple dans un
communiqué commun parvenu à l'AFP.
Armstrong,
34 ans, et Crow, 43 ans, avaient annoncé leurs
fiançailles en
septembre, deux mois après que le cycliste texan eut mis fin
à sa
carrière sur une septième victoire au Tour de France,
record absolu de
la compétition.
Armstrong a trois enfants d'un premier mariage
avec son ex-épouse Kristin.
Lance Armstrong vivait avec Sheryl Crow dans un ranch de la
région d'Austin au Texas.
