Eva devint amie avec Anna-Belle Oliva, celle-ci compétitionna au Canadian Idol Top 22. « nous avons certaines similitudes dans le sens de l'humour et nous avons beaucoup rient ensemble » dit-elle. Eva pense que chaque compétiteur ou compétitrice dans le la compétition est unique et très différent, ce qui est magnifique.
Eva, qui parle l'Anglais, le Français et l'Espagnole est fier de ses origines Québecoises et Péruviennes. En effet sa mère est Canadienne Française et son père est Péruvien. En plus d'aimer le "saltado de pollo (un plat Péruvien) elle adore le "sushi" et tout ce qui est "thai" en plus bien sûr le "Shepherd's Pie" de sa mère
Son film favori est "Ghost" et quelques-uns de ses vêtements préférés sont les chandails de Bob Marley et American Eagle.
Elle aime aussi apporté son support à la ligue de hockey de sa ville "Les Olynpiques de Hull".
Eva croit que les Canadiens sont les meilleurs chanteurs au monde. Ils restent vrai dans ce qu'ils sont et ne cherchent pas à imiter d'autres artistes. « Ils chantent avec leur coeur et ils sont authentiques.

Eva, a former winner of the province-wide singing competition "Jeune Diva du Quebec," first sang in public at the age of three. She says she would love to follow in the footsteps of Nelly Furtado. "I admire that girl so much, because she's amazingly simple, talented and beautiful," she says. She would love to meet Michael Jackson as she feels that he has revolutionized the music industry.
Eva has become friends with Canadian Idol Top 22 competitor Anna-Belle Oliva. "We have a similar sense of humour so we had lots of good laughs together," she says. Eva feels that each Canadian Idol competitor in the Top 22 is unique and very different and she thinks that's awesome.
Eva, who speaks English, French and Spanish, is proud of her Quebec/Peruvian roots (her mother is French-Canadian while her father is Peruvian). In addition to loving saltado de pollo (a Peruvian dish), Eva loves sushi, anything Thai and her mom's Shepherd's Pie.
Her favourite movie is Ghost and her favourite articles of clothing are her Bob Marley and American Eagle sweatshirts. Eva also loves to support her hometown hockey team Les Olympiques de Hull.
Eva believes that Canadians are the best singers in the world. "They stay true to who they are and they don't imitate any other artist," she says. "They sing from the heart. They're authentic."
